Young people enjoy life more than older people

I agree with the following statement: young people enjoy life more than older people. I think young people enjoy their lives much more than older people for the following reasons. First of all, most young people have fewer responsibilities than older people. Second of all, younger people usually have more freedom than older people. And third of all, younger people have time to discover who they really are.
Most young people have (a lot) less responsibilities than older people, such as a fulltime job, children you have to take care of, maintaining good contact with your busy friends, working out, resting, keeping your house clean and the list goes on. These are all tasks and responsibilities a lot of young people have nothing to do with, yet. All the stress that comes with the responsibilities is obviously not making people happier and that is why younger people are definitely happier when it comes to this point.
Younger people usually have more freedom than older people. Since younger people don’t have to commit to long time relationships, a full-time job and other things that can take back their freedom, they have more time to themselves. They will have more time to do the things they like and they don’t have to worry about other people as much as adults. Young people who know what responsibilities their parents have will probably enjoy their freedom even better.
Younger people have time to discover who they really are. It often takes people a whole lifetime to discover who they really are but especially when you’re young, you are busy finding out who you are. Discovering who they are can be really satisfying because they can try out new things, find out what they really like and start working towards whatever they might want to become or do later in life. Finding that all out, can make people really happy. Or being able not to have to make a life changing decision yet, can also be really satisfying.
In brief, freedom is something that makes people happy. When you are young and you don’t have all the responsibilities that older people have and that are holding you back from doing what you love, you are much happier than the people who can’t do what they love. Also, discovering who you are is a beautiful and difficult thing that takes time. Knowing that you are young and the sky is the limit and you have plenty of time to figure out what you want, can make you enjoy life a lot more.
